47th Annual BC Mine Reclamation Symposium – Now Full

The BC Technical and Research Committee on Reclamation presents the Call for Papers for our 2024 Symposium in Burnaby, BC to submit abstracts and written papers for our 2024  Symposium with the theme of Biodiversity in Mine Reclamation.

2024 Call for Papers extended

The 47th Annual Mine Reclamation Symposium (from September 23 to 26th, 2024), will be a virtual and in-person Symposium in Burnaby, BC, and we invite authors to submit written papers for oral presentation that address a wide range of reclamation practices including planning, implementation, effectiveness monitoring, regulation, and indigenous engagement.

In addition, field tours of reclamation in the Lower Mainland aggregate industry and a special session on “Mine Reclamation and Biodiversity” is planned, we welcome submissions for this session.

Please note the deadline for the abstracts are due March 29th and papers are due June 14, 2024.

Final papers will be published and accessible post-conference on the University of British Columbia library site – cIRcle. Please visit the site to see papers from the previous 44 years of Proceedings.
