Science Fair Award

Each year, the TRCR provides a $500 Student Award to the Provincial Science Fairs Program for an outstanding project dealing with reclamation or environmental protection with preference given to a mining related topic. This award is presented to a Grade 11 or 12 student intending to enroll at a post-secondary institution.

2009 WINNER

The 2009 Science Fair award for $500.00 was given to Charlotte Clegg (Stratford Hall, Vancouver) for her project titled Bioluminescence - a study of effect of ocean pH on the degree of bioluminescence.
